2026
Our first Gathering for 2026 was a really lovely event with over 30 folk getting together in the hall on a beautiful spring evening! Great to see everyone just enjoying each others company and conversation. I think we're all getting used to the idea of not eating anything before a Gathering! ... the food as ever was plentiful and delicious.
The 3 hours flew by ... and we didn't even have time for a sing-song!... we'll save that for another gathering!

Our second gathering for 2026 was, everyone there agreed, one of the best ever! The hall looked lovely with the green and white checked tablecloths, flowers, candles and wee framed strawberry photos. Folk just kept arriving with wonderful food and the combination of friendship, food and music worked its usual magic! Added to all that the excitement of our first Butterstone dominoes competition, organised by Dougie and Callum, (with some great prizes) and it made for a truly memorable night!

...then it's time for music!!...
The day began with cloud and a little rain but by late afternoon the sun was shining for the Late Summer Pizza and BBQ Gathering! The bunting, flowers and check tablecloths on the tables, plus Callum's carefully chosen music playlist made the deck outside the village hall really welcoming.
John was the BBQ master, Graham manned the Pizza oven and Jenny organised the rest of the wonderful food that arrived and was enjoyed by a really good crowd of folk ... plus two very well behaved dogs!
Great conversation followed food ... with some new friends and lots of familiar faces enjoying a good catch-up.
... and music followed food and conversation... thanks to all the musicians whose songs and tunes gave us all a great end to our really lovely event.
